Happy Saturday, Jagged Time Lapsers!

I’d meant to have a new, October-appropriate post up here for my paid subscribers today, or at least another installment for all my readers of the still-evolving JTL Halloween Jams playlist — to paraphrase Ed Gein, Part 1 can be found here, while Part 2 is over here — but the end of this week got a bit crazy with deadlines, friends visiting from out of town, etc. So, the next full installment of this Substack is unfortunately just gonna have to wait until Monday…

But in the meantime, I’ve taken the suggestion of my old L.A. pal

Spotify happily has everything I’ve picked so far, with the not-surprising exception of the live versions of “Goo Goo Muck” and “Frankenstein” that I posted earlier. Thankfully, the studio versions of those songs sound just dandy here.

This playlist is still very much a work-in-progress — I hope to add at least another 30 Halloween favorites of mine to it before I’m done, with JTL “liner notes” to match. For now, though, it’s a 65-minute spooktrackular, the perfect sonic accompaniment for pumpkin carving, graveyard strolling, ghost hunting and maybe even a little light human sacrifice.
