Nice tribute, Dan, to a guy I didn’t know but seems like he was one of the “good ones”. That treatment for ALS is mostly “non-existent” 84 years after Gehrig died is just a travesty.
P.S.-do you have the only Chuck Mangione T-shirt IN EXISTENCE?
Their first album Just Earrings is more of a straight-ahead early Kinks blast, while their third (Miracle Mirror) is closer to late-sixties Bee Gees. All three are really great!

Haha, no - I got mine here: https://shirtssogood.com/products/feels-so-good-short-sleeve-unisex-t-shirt
I can see why that era of Golden Earring attracts you so much. I was unaware!

Beautiful work Dan, sure wish I knew Tim.
You would have loved him.
That sucks. I saw them open for White Zombie in a small club in 1996 or thereabouts
1993, most likely - a great time to see em!
Another fine farewell to another good guy. You certainly always bring out the very best in the people you have known. A big Thank You for that!
Great post, Dan. Wish I'd had the great fortune to have known Tim, but from your writing, I feel as though I kinda did.
Thanks, Mike — appreciate you saying that.
