At first I read it as “Screen Loser”. Not a bad title either. 🤷🏽

Q. Is it “incest” if both father and son were/are in love with D. Harry at the same time?

A.

(3) Not if she doesn’t know it

Love your writing, Dan!

I remember NYC in the 70s and 80s from living in CT and on Long Island and coming into the city for fun and to see friends. Why do we never realize how cool something is until it's gone?

Having really enjoyed Debbie Harry's autobiography, I'm keen to read Chris Stein's and hear everything from his point of view.

Ned Hayden's book sounds really interesting as well. (Just when I told myself not to buy more rock books!)

Thank you, Ellen! (And you can never have enough rock books!)

Does Chris Stein solve the mystery of his connection to the band First Crew To The Moon? I read somewhere that they were friends. Their songwriter (a similarly surnamed chap called Millstein) died at an early age and it affected Chris. The band released some great garage-psych 45s on Roulette under the moniker First Crew To The Moon. Thank you.

He doesn’t mention them. I know those records, though- they’re pretty cool!

That is a shame. God knows where I read that nugget of information in the dim and distant past. BTW your mates Redd Kross were awesome in Manchester recently. One of my favourite gigs of the year. Good luck with the book!
