Wow. Thanks for the reminder! I bought this (on cassette!) after seeing the video for No Regrets on 120 Minutes. I thought it was fantastic. No one else I knew gave it any regards whatsoever. I couldn't get any of my friends to respond with anything more than a, "hmm." I don't remember seeing nor hearing anything about the band other than the 120 Minutes video, (introduced by Lewis Largent and Billy Corgan,) and their brief inclusion on the Seattle film, Hype.

Jaysus on a unicycle, did you ever go to school? This is why I sent child-support? See you in court! Judge Wopner presiding. 👨🏼‍⚖️

Sorry man! I thought you were still in high school. So you take me to court. Just not Judge Judy. We used to date. It ended badly. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Flop was one of the first live bands I ever saw. I saw them when they played in a small room in the basement of Washington State University's student union in 1993. This was right when I first discovered the world of alternative music and college radio and the band was great. They played with Gas Huffer if I remember correctly.

Thanks for putting a spotlight on a fun band. I first saw them in a small space at an afternoon show in Oakland and I think there were maybe 20 people there. I felt bad for them, but they played their hearts out. I think it was the same year they played NoisePop in SF.

What a tremendous album and band. Rusty's other band, Pure Joy, were pretty great as well, less aggressive, more pop-flavored. My dream is for Rusty to join up with whatever is left of the Posies.
