Always enjoy these when i can read them… Neil Young’s “There’s A World” - that’s a heavy one.

I love this story. And Billy's not wrong about Depeche Mode.

I've had this album of Max Steiner film scores since I was a kid, and I can tell you that his opening credits soundtrack to King Kong are pretty effin' heavy! https://www.discogs.com/master/268330-Max-Steiner-Charles-Gerhardt-National-Philharmonic-Orchestra-Now-Voyager-The-Classic-Film-Scores-Of- Also, it's spelled Califone. ;)

My Gawd! Ferrante & Teicher covered "Quiet Village" on the same LP! Taking a page from the Billy Gibbons Depeche songbook, I always thought President Gas by The Psychedelic Furs had a heaviness to it. I could imagine it slowed down twelve bpm's, and tuned down to B. https://youtu.be/mnCmdrJz5zo

Oh yeah — I love their version of "Quiet Village"! And good call on "President Gas"; I used to jam on that a bit with a friend in college, and it could indeed get heavy!
