Like this album a lot - never been lucky to find a copy in the wild. Love the version of 'I'll Be Home for Christmas' here with a lovely guitar onliggato at the end (fairly certain it's Tommy Tedesco).

Yeah, that totally sounds like Tommy!

I've had the Hollyridge Strings Beatles LP for years but would love to find a copy of this now that I know it's so damn groovy! Will keep my eyes peeled while crate digging!

As they say in Scrooged, Yule Love It!

Will definitely be on the look out for a copy of this! One thing about WI garage sales; there’s almost always at least 1-2 Christmas records up for grabs.

Clicked back to your Dec. 23 JTL...Link Ray was one of John's favorite guys...just so you know. Never heard of Hollyridge StringsLP , but I certainly know now! Thank you

Oh yeah - Uncle John and I talked a lot about Link.

I cheated and just hunted this up on iTunes. Imagine my surprise when I realized I knew track two (Jingle Bells) from the Ultra-Lounge Christmas Cocktails CD from the ‘90s. I’m sold.

In other news … it was only about an hour ago that I remembered I needed to hunt through the archives and find the Music To Watch Christmas Elves By post from 2022. I saved it correctly this time around!

I'm actually reposting a new, improved MTWCEB on Monday — a lot of the embeds from the original post don't work anymore, plus I've added some new (old) mixes since then!

I don't have this album. This will probably sound Scrooge'ish, but I'm not a big fan of Christmas music (I know, I know...bah, humbug). However, I do have a minty pair of Pioneer SE-30s complete with their original black box. Come to think of it, I, too, need to do more headphone listening in the New Year!

Nah, it’s okay to not dig Christmas music - I know many who love it, but probably just as many who don’t. But yeah, definitely bust out those SE-30s and see where they take ya!
