“This is what I do, this is who I am.” Exactly. It took me longer - I was 64 when I began to write about music. I believe regrets are a waste of time, yet if I’d followed my interest in writing about music when I was a teenager I would have had a very different employment history and been rather more fulfilled. Never mind, here we are.
Great band, great post and (I'm certain) great cat! Enjoy your time off!! I came really late to Los Shakers too but was hooked right away. If I was younger I probably would have blown them off. What a treasure!
The cat room at the Ulster SPCA looks like a pretty decent waiting room for the kitties. It is spacious, with lots of toys and kitty condos. I M sure the cats would like to be adopted, but they seem pretty content in the meantime. We are big fans of the Ulster SPCA and they are one of our few charitable recipients.
Happy birthday! And thanks for giving Hugo a new home, sounds like he just needs someone to give him the space, love, and time to get over his time at the SPCA. And thanks for the intro to Los Shakers. I enjoyed the videos and will give them a listen.
