I saw Maiden on their Number of the Beast tour in Cleveland. The day of the show I was in a Mall in downtown Cleveland and saw a guy with very long hair wearing an "I ❤️ Country Music" t-shirt. As I got closer I knew it was Bruce. I was somewhat amazed at how short he is, for some reason being 13, I assumed he would be much taller than me, but he wasn't. Nevertheless, I walked up to him and said "Will Eddie be at the show tonight?" he smiled and said "Yes, mate. We will see you there!."
Many years later when I was living in London a good friend of ours who is a guitarist invited us to dinner. I knew Andy was good friends with Adrian and also played football with Steve, so I shouldn't have been surprised when Adrian and his wife walked in and ended up sitting at the table with us all, but I must admit, I was a bit starstruck.
