I felt like I was on the Gong Show! As one of my favorite Beatles songs, it’s hard to stop it, regardless who’s singing. But on the other hand… Yeah, I couldn’t make it through the round and round chorus.
Maybe they forgot to add "to the bone" to finish their comment on Eddie...but probably not. I'm with you on WOL, I'm fascinated & sometimes blown away by it. One of my best examples are an obviously baked out of their mind's hippy comments on a rare copy of The Litter's "Emerge" on ABC/Probe, including the classic comment, "far out man! " The grand prize winner is a plastic label-maker label identifying The Searcher's "No. 4" in mono in braille. The LP is mint & it's cool to think of the care the person who owned it maintained their record collection with.
"his vocals on the “round and round” sections sound not unlike the moans of a man undergoing an overly rigorous prostate exam" 😆

Hahaha — yeah, TOTAL proto-Gong Show vibes!

Oof...the poor guy in the YouTube comments who never knew it was a Beatles song until a few years ago. Must have been some sheltered upbringing.
