Looking forward to reading your stuff. Sorry to hear you're leaving NC when we just got here.

Peace,

Aww man, I'm sorry about that. Nothing personal — and I hope NC treats you well!

Ed Charles was a Buddah promo guy? I can't even imagine, say, Jeff Bagwell with a Columbia Records silk jacket on!!🤯

That's crazy. I'm a lifelong Met fan and lifelong music business nerd and never put the two together. I also just read that Art Kass was married to Ed Kranepool's ex-wife Carol 🤯

Jagged Time Lapse, jagged time lapse. Where have I heard this? Ah, yes, split single with Mudhoney and Halo of Flies, with Hazelmyer's band covering the song. Mod Showdown!

Had never heard the phrase "John's Children" until beginning your post ten minutes ago

Yep — Hazlemyer had excellent taste. Always loved HoF's cover of The Creation's "How Does It Feel to Feel," too.

Might go away from Amphetamine Reptile and cite Das Damen"s cover of "Making Time" as my favorite of this ilk. It was a Sub Pop singles club thing,, and it said right there on the back "A Creation song!" exclamation point Intact, so you knew they had their freakbeat priorities down.
